Description
The Dance World Cup competition between June 28 and July 6 gathered more than 6 thousand dancers from 51 countries. The modalities of classical, contemporary, hip-hop, street dance, acro dance, jazz, tap dance, commercial, national folklore and for the first time in 2019 ballroom dances set the stage for the entire Altice Forum Braga.
Between 6000 athletes, 4000 companions, more than 3000 competitions and 120 awards ceremonies, the Dance World Cup had about 100,000 visits.
With a direct return on the local economy estimated at approximately 20 million Euros, the Dance World Cup has demonstrated the ability of Altice Forum Braga to host an international mega event.
The success of the competition in Braga led the organization to confirm the event again in 2022.
