Forum Braga made its debut with its own program at Noite Branca
Forum Braga is part of the Braga White Night 2026 program, taking place September 4–6, with activities that blend art, movement, and creative experimentation, including a program specifically designed for families with children ages 0 to 6. Admission to these events is free.
Under the theme “My First Braga White Night,” the program developed by Arte Total for Forum Braga includes three activities that invite children and adults to explore different ways of engaging with art, making the facility managed by InvestBraga yet another venue for Braga White Night.
On Friday, September 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the open workshop “The Floor Draws Our Body” will take place. At 6:00 p.m., “Uma Obra, Um Mo(vi)mento” will take place—a workshop that begins with a visit to the “Solares Portugueses” exhibition to transform the forms, rhythms, and atmospheres of the artworks into movement, gesture, and artistic creation.
On Saturday, September 5, the open studio returns from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., while at 11:30 a.m., “Our Home Is a Body” will take place—a workshop on physical play and relational dance. The event will be repeated on Sunday, September 6, at 11:30 a.m., with the open studio available that day from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The White Night program at Forum Braga also includes the opportunity to visit “Solares Portugueses,” on display at Forum Arte Braga. The exhibition brings together a selection of 35 works from the Vasco Collection, spanning various practices, styles, and periods of modern and contemporary Portuguese art. Curated by Gabriel Barbi based on the eponymous book by Carlos de Azevedo dedicated to the Portuguese Baroque house, the exhibition runs through September 12.
