Forum Braga made its debut with its own program at Noite Branca
Braga Summer End once again brought different generations together at Forum Braga for an evening filled with music and entertainment, with the audience enthusiastically embracing the different moments of a line-up designed to bring together musical eras and genres.
Around 4,500 people attended the sixth edition of the event, which featured Vengaboys, Chico da Tina, 69 Graus and DJs M80 as its main acts. From the songs that defined the late 1990s and early 2000s to the sounds of a new generation of Portuguese music, the evening was marked by contrasts, but also by many shared experiences. People of all ages gathered in front of the stage, reflecting the intergenerational character that has become a defining feature of Braga Summer End.
For Ana Sofia Alves, Braga Summer End offered an opportunity to reconnect with songs associated with different moments in her life. “Some songs are simply unforgettable for those who lived through the final decades of the 20th century, and Vengaboys are a perfect example. Their greatest hits defined several generations, and seeing them in Braga feels like stepping into a time machine,” she said.
Vengaboys delivered one of the most eagerly anticipated performances of this year’s edition. The Dutch group brought some of the best-known songs from their repertoire to Forum Braga, performing before an audience ready to sing and dance along to tracks that continue to resonate across generations.
The musical journey offered by Braga Summer End also featured Chico da Tina, who brought the irreverence and distinctive identity that define his career to the stage. His performance particularly engaged younger generations and contributed to one of the contrasts that best captured the concept behind this year’s edition.
Leonor, from Guimarães, arrived at Forum Braga shortly after 5.00 p.m. to secure a place at the front, particularly to see Chico da Tina. “I really want to have fun. I’m here mainly to see Chico da Tina, but also to enjoy the whole celebration,” she explained.
